Miki Lowe is an Anglo-Japanese multidisciplinary creative, raised in France and currently based between London and Spain. Her broad portfolio spans arts and culture, interior and textile design, editorial, publishing, packaging, and fashion.
Trained in applied arts and illustration, her work blends an artistic sensitivity with design-driven thinking, taking an interdisciplinary approach that moves fluidly between illustration, art, and design.
Miki’s creative language is shaped by her multicultural upbringing, a deep love of travel, and a curiosity for various creative fields that spans architecture, interior design, floristry, textiles, graphic design and photography.
While the subject, topic, and colour palette of her work may shift from project to project, a consistent thread runs through it all: a love of the expressiveness of hand-drawn line, and an inclination toward moments of poetry and romance, or subtle mythic undertones in the everyday.
Her work has gained international recognition, appearing in acclaimed magazines, on book covers, and across a range of products. She has led talks and workshops, consulted and collaborated on brand activations, and exhibited in London, Madrid, and Paris.
